Euglena Co., Ltd. Showcased Sustainable Food Innovations at SusHi Tech Tokyo 2025

Tokyo, Japan – May 2025 — Euglena Co., Ltd. participated in SusHi Tech Tokyo 2025, held at Tokyo Big Sight from May 8 to 10, 2025. The company contributed to the "Future Experience Pavilion", a feature of the exhibition designed to offer visitors a taste of life in the year 2050.

As part of the pavilion’s sustainable food exhibit, Euglena presented prototype samples of two innovative plant-based food items made with Aurantiochytrium, a microalgal material rich in DHA and known for its fish-like flavor. The showcased prototypes — plant-based negitoro (minced tuna) and plant-based mentaiko (spicy cod roe) — represented Euglena’s vision for the future of food that is both sustainable and nutritious.

Limited samples were also made available for tasting during the event, attracting strong interest from visitors.
