Euglena Lab is pleased to report our successful participation in Euglena Fest 2025, held on October 19th at Tamachi Tower Mall in Tokyo. This annual community-focused event brings together Euglena supporters, customers, partners, and newcomers to discover how our microalgae technology is transforming the future of healthcare, environment, and everyday life. As the company marks its 20th anniversary, this year’s theme—“Living, Enjoying, and Staying Sustainable for the Next 20 Years”—provided a special opportunity to highlight both achievements and future directions.

At the biofuel booth, visitors learned about the ongoing progress of our next-generation biofuel initiatives. Discussions covered not only our demonstration flights and collaborations but also the broader vision of decarbonizing aviation and logistics through microalgae-derived solutions. Many questions and opinions from the audience offered fresh perspectives and valuable hints for how we can accelerate market adoption and communicate our mission more effectively.

We also received updates from the team advancing the sustainable fertilizer business, which aims to utilize the unique nutrients of Euglena biomass to support crop productivity and soil health. Conversations with guests interested in sustainable agriculture helped reinforce the significance of this business line in addressing food security and regenerative farming challenges.

The R&D experience corner was one of the most vibrant areas of the venue. Families, students, and fans were able to take part in interactive experiments such as “Euglena Ball Scooping.” These activities allowed participants to directly observe the properties of microalgae while enjoying a playful scientific experience. This hands-on interaction served as a strong reminder that curiosity and excitement are powerful drivers of biotechnology innovation.
